The food was good. The best part of the night was live music. Steve Floyd had the place rockin!!
We just discovered this restaurant that was probably there forever. The food is good, the service is good and it is not overly packed like any other restaurant in Clarkston. It gets a good amount and they have entertainment on Friday nights. Our favorite undetected place.
We have been going out for years at weekends in Clarkston, but because of the long waiting times (especially during Covid, we started to go to Back Court, a place I knew of a member at the adjacent Deer Lake Raquet Club. Over the past few years we have been in the Back Court, and we have always been impressed by the quality and mastery of our meals, the first-class waitress and the relaxed atmosphere. The bar is also very welcoming. Recently, a Saturday, a friend and I had AMAZING Prime Rib (big part with an incredible au jus/zip sauce, while our other friend said his balsamic salmon was excellent. The sides were tasty, and the breadsticks were fresh from the oven (and are in themselves reason enough to go to the Back Court! . For our 3 meals, appetizers and soft drinks the bill was below $100. Before leaving we noticed our server that we could not understand why people wait 30-60 minutes to wait in other local restaurants (often for a mediocre meal, while we only at one of the best places in the area and its almost empty! Our waitress replied that people often do not recognize Back Court is there (entry is not very noticeable, or that its only one for members of Deer Lake Raquet Club (because it shares the same building. So I'm gonna do things... The entrance is located on the Rd side of the White Lake, under overhang and on some steps (between huge greenhouse pool housing and the front door of the Raquet Club, and BACK COURT is on the public.
Food was good.
