Hinoki Japanese - Clarendon County

I have been eating Sushi at Hinoki for over 20 years. Some of freshest, high quality Sushi on the East Coast. This isn't a fancy restaurant but it is amazing food.

Maybe it’s the atmosphere people are paying for? Certainly isn’t the sushi and sashimi. I got takeout from here tonight and definitely feel like I overpaid. The sashimi pieces were small and not very fresh, the salad was just romaine lettuce, the sushi wasn’t much better than what you’d get at the grocery store. Seriously, next time I will just hit up Publix.

Our reservation was confirmed and we were seated promptly at the requested and preferred table. We were there for Sushi and had seared tuna as an appetizer and sashimi dinner with saki. All was very good and it was a delightful experience. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Tasteless. Worst ramen of my life. They served a bowl full of watery soup with a tiny amount of noodles and no pork basically. Also ordered the wizard roll and it was smaller than grocery store $5 rolls… Very disappointed. Worthless experience.

The family loved it for sushi and gave it great ratings. I'm not personally a sushi prob yet had the teriyaki chicken dinner which was also very good.
