Gillie's Seafood - Clarendon County

During our three month road trip, Gillies was my top restaurant choice. As we near the end of our journey, I reflect on all the places we dined at and Gillies stands out as a favorite. We dined in once and also ordered take-out from here. If I lived closer, I would definitely be a regular at this restaurant.

Simple and delicious seafood. Definitely recommend trying it out.

It was OK, but not worth the price. Their collards are great, the seafood is good, but typical, the Mac Cheese was the worst we ever tasted, my wife and I both threw it out, and the servings were small. The cake desserts were stale and dry. Overall, not worth the $90 I paid for it. Nice people there, but not going back for a while.

My dish was delicious, wife not so happy, the fish was to soft her vegetables was over cook

Fried chicken and fried shrimp was some of the best we ever had. Staff was great.
