Don't hesitate to stop by this restaurant! I drove through on a Sunday afternoon and found it was the only place open. I'm so glad I did—it offers some excellent barbecue. I ordered the three-meat plate with two sides for just $12. It’s a bit easy to overlook, as it’s located on the eastbound side, right across from the giraffe at the trading post.

We arrived at 3:20 PM on a Saturday, but the restaurant was closed. From the outside, it looked more like an auto salvage yard. It seemed promising based on the reviews we had read.

Shonda's is fantastic! We were traveling from Denver to Dallas and decided to stop by on a whim, and it turned out to be a great decision. The barbecue was incredible, and the Blueberry Bottom Cake was just perfect! Shonda is so friendly, and we'll definitely make it a point to visit every time we travel across the country!
