Bidrage med feedbackThe rice paper rolls and Vietnamese pancakes at this restaurant are irresistible. The pho and rare beef salad are fantastic choices. Don't miss out on trying their popular beef and chips dish, as well as their delicious mango smoothies. Overall, everything at this restaurant is outstanding.
This small, no-frills, family-run restaurant provided us with a fantastic meal. We were in Montréal and looking for a quick bite before heading north, and we definitely made the right choice. The pho, duck, and huh were all incredibly tasty. Just don't expect anything fancy.
My partner and I loved the pho and viet pancakes so much that we went back 4 times within 3 days. the jazz crackling was also great.
With a good selection of inexpensive traditional Vietnamese foods. the aromen were beautiful and clean. the menu is somewhat confused with country fried chicken (chips, huh and burger,) but that should not deter them from tasting this restaurant. the restaurant is quite small and definitely...not a place for a fine dinning or special date!
Upon arriving at 8pm on a Friday night, we were surprised to find only one other diner in the restaurant. If we want places like this to succeed in Hobart, we need to support them. While some traditional Vietnamese elements were missing, such as stacked plates of spring rolls and tea in a thermos, the food was excellent and the owners were welcoming. Although Claremont is a bit of a drive and the restaurant is slightly out of the way, it is worth the effort to visit. Parking is easy, and the restaurant can accommodate larger groups if you make a reservation. If you are a fan of Vietnamese cuisine, we recommend giving this restaurant a try.
