Bidrage med feedbackWe arrived at the restaurant at 6pm and were promptly greeted and seated by the host. He took us to a table that was missing a chair, so two of us sat, while the third stood at the table for a couple minutes until a chair could be found. The restaurant was fairly busy. Our host gave us just one menu. We got up to ask him for two more, and he seemed a bit confused, then fetched us two more menus. The menu consists of various kebabs, salads, and seafood. We couldn’t understand how the veggie kebab $18) could be the same price as the filet mignon kebab. In any case, we decided and were ready to order, and that proved to be a huge problem. There were no servers in sight. We waited about ten minutes, then couldn’t take it anymore. As the host passed by, we asked about our server. He replied, “I’m not your server, but will send one your way.” He proceeds to the table of six directly next to us, and takes their order. When he was finished, we let him know that type of service is not very professional. He didn’t seem to care very much and replied, “well, you don’t have a reservation.” If that was the case and they weren’t ready for us, they should not have seated us. There was no apology, just an annoyed attitude. It must be embarrassing for the owners of this nicely adorned establishment to have to subject their customers to such treatment. Needless to say, we won’t be coming back. However, we ended up at Bua Thai) down the street and had a very pleasant meal.
We have had lunch there a couple of times. Can dine outside or in. Food is good and service has been good too. Perhaps previous reviewer went when it was opening.
If you are you have to go to Casablanca..Service is great, food delicious and good hookahs too. I have been going to Casablanca since they opened and I always received the same great service, they even know me by name…I give Casablanca a 10
The menu offered a variety of kebabs, salads, and seafood. However, we were puzzled as to how the Veggie Kebab, priced at $18, could be the same as the Filet Mignon Kebab. Once we made our choices, we were ready to place our order, but that turned out to be a significant issue. There were no servers in sight, and after about ten minutes of waiting, we decided we couldn’t wait any longer. When the host passed by, we inquired about our server. He informed us, “I am not your server, but I’ll send one over.” He then proceeded to take the order of a table of six right next to us. After he finished, we expressed our dissatisfaction with the service, but he seemed indifferent to our concerns, responding, “You don’t have a reservation.” If that was the case, they should not have seated us. There was no justification for his attitude, which was quite unprofessional. It’s disheartening for the owners of this beautifully decorated establishment to subject their customers to such treatment. Needless to say, we will not be returning. Instead, we ended up at Bua Thai down the street and enjoyed a very pleasant meal there.
We've dined there a few times, and you can choose to eat either indoors or outdoors. The food is good, and the service has been satisfactory as well. Perhaps the previous reviewer visited shortly after the restaurant opened.
