The Rising Sun - Clanfield

Ed and Kerry are wonderful hosts. They made our stay perfectly enjoyable in every way. We visited a friend nearby, and Ed was kind enough to pick us up when we couldn't find a taxi. The room was clean, comfortable, and warm, allowing for a restful sleep. It's a lovely guesthouse, and we highly recommend it. The village itself is beautiful and offers plenty of walking opportunities. Don't miss out on this experience!

This is a spacious pub with accommodations located along King Alfred’s Way. We visited after cycling from Reading, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, even assisting with bike storage. The food was excellent, and they graciously prepared an early breakfast for us so we could set off sooner. Highly recommended!

I had a lovely evening enjoying drinks at the restaurant. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our waiter, Alex. He was incredibly attentive to both me and my partner. His politeness, friendliness, and engaging conversation truly enhanced our experience. He ensured our food was excellent and left us with smiles on our faces. Once again, a big thank you to Alex. We look forward to returning soon!

Delicious food for valentine! the best meal we had in the old one. the personal was great and very attentive. bern here a few times recently and can not blame! they would be very happy!
