Had to go get my son in law a kebab when we left four pieces of chicken a few slices of bread for the four of us and one bowl of salad to share for 14.95 lunch menu and a very small plate of humus I took photos also when I said to the waiter about the extra small portions he said everything has gone up stood staring at us and giggling with a girl waitress was charged extra for a bit more salad tiny bowl of chillie sauce one tiny spoon full each I live in clacton my daughter was down for the day will not be returning and also telling all my friends to avoid this place

Been here a few times and usually really satisfied. Visited today, opted in for the lunch menu what we usually order. Extremely small portions 4 cubes of chicken, one small bowl of salad between 3 people, we ordered x3 hummus and it was absolutely tiny just thinly spread on the plate with 1 piece of bread each. I’m really sad to write this as I’ve been going here for ages and usually rave about it but cutting the portions down this small is so disappointing. The waiter was extremely rude today and stared at us the entire time while we was eating. What a shame you’ve let the restaurant go down hill like this paid £65 for 4 cubes of chicken each, walked out of there still really hungry. Hopefully writing this review the manager will take into consideration as the waiter clearly didn’t care for our feedback and made us feel uncomfortable with his sly remarks eg, the portions have been cut back smaller as everything has gone up, which I understand however the price is cheap to start with.

Visited restaurant on 1st impressions restaurant looking great welcome by staff friendly ordered starters king prawns and halloumi really nice my husband had the liver large portions my husband said it was cold in places Restaurant gave free bread dips and salad was delicious Was really looking forward to the mains well it went down hill very quickly we both order klefiko PLEASE AVIOD AT ALL COSTS house specials was more like house disaster, it was RANK,COLD FATTY and INSTANT MASH POTATOE. was not SERVED in a clay pot it was like slop in a bowl absolutely DISGUSTING it was microwave lamb and instant mash looked like a lamb stew done by an amture. a chef can only cook with ingredients he is given so don't blame chef intirley, Other dishes coming out like the kebabs looked nice.
