Bidrage med feedbackI disappear again in extended cycling trips with day trips, and my all time is favorite that the south, over the rio Grande/Rio bravo in cd. juarez, mexiko, then north along the rio to casa de adobe, opposite border marker 1. I have almost. always stopped at the chocolat moffel where juan welded the broken back seat on my doublevision last year, followed by the essential tank stop here in barbacoa el sancho. the parking space is everywhere you can find it; for me it could be in norzagaray, or on the way, or in the street, but I don't stay long. the women are very, very fast take care of the order and I'm soon pedaling north, finally out of the pavement and on a rough levee, waving piping at the wonderful border patrol on the usa side. this is such a delicious stop, I often have myself from eating only so I can eat more tacos to go! in the rule there are in the usa refined motor vehicles that are parked tightly, the occupants also enjoy a energetic food top. I will often buy an excess amount, so I can share with casa de adobe curator alfredo or chocolate juan when I pedal back.
I had not thoroughly planned my mini-bike tour on 18JAN2014, except to meet with a working mate for the fatter day and maybe visit with curator alfredo on the outstanding museo casa de adobe at the northernmost border of mexiko. then I have made an agreement to meet my wife in a restaurant on the westside, which I would reasonably be close, as my route brought me into this direction anyway. Unfortunately, it meant pedaling on Mesa/TX20 late afternoon, the number 1 worst bike path in el paso. the conditions were however super-little wind and little traffic. also regrettable was my tardy start, mid-morning, due to homework, etc. I knew it was too late for my colleague and went to the fantastic country Mexico/Ciudad juarez at the bridge of Americas/libre puente. it was incredibly pleasant - the (motor) vehicle operators are so polite! when I rode north on blvd ing. bernardo norzagaray, my energy was confused and knew that a food top was in the foreground. barbacoa el sancho was at the perfect location and right timing; I parked next to the bordstein and took a chair seat tight. tacos is the court, and absolutely necessary. actually I was glad to get a place; this stand is overcrowded with a lot of hungry mules (mich enclosed) who know that this is the place to lunch! the tasty eating kept me for several hours pedaling (an hour was spent inch north on puente santa Fe--8 peso toll), including the dangerous Mesa/TX20. Anyway, this food is fabulous. my mouth pours as I write!

Then I entered into an agreement to meet my wife at a restaurant on the Westside, which I would be reasonably close to since my route took me in that direction anyway. Unfortunately, it meant late afternoon pedaling on Mesa/TX20, the number 1 worst bicycling road in El Paso. However, the conditions were superb--little wind and little traffic. Also unfortunate was my tardy start, mid-morning, due to house tasks, etc. I knew it was too late for my workmate and went into that fantastic country of Mexico/Ciudad Juarez at the Bridge of the Americas/libre puente. It was unbelievably pleasant--the (motor) vehicle operators are so courteous! As I pedaled North on blvd ing. bernardo norzagaray, my energy was sagging and knew a foodstop was imminent. Barbacoa el Sancho was at the perfect place and right timing; I parked alongside the curb and took a stool seat closely. Tacos is THE dish, and absolutely needed. Actually, I was glad to get a seat; this stand is crowded with a multitude of hungry patrons (myself included) who know this is the place for lunch! The delicious food kept me pedaling for several more hours (one hour was spent inching North on Puente Santa Fe--8 peso toll), including the hazardous Mesa/TX20. Anyway, this eatery is fabulous. My mouth is watering as I write this...!
