Waterfalls -catarata (nauyaca)

We made the riding tour through Don Lulo to the waterfall Nauyaca. We made the 8:00 tour. It started right away. The light breakfast was good and lunch was a great Costa Rica meal that was excellent. Saw many monkeys and 2 aras during our meals and a coat while on the horse. The horses are well maintained and very quiet. Had about an hour to swim in the waterfall. Return to the ranch at 12:30. Very recommended.

This is the best waterfall I have been to in Costa Rica. There is a steep road to drive followed by a long 8km round trip hike. But you can hire drivers to bring you there and back for relatively cheap. Be sure to bring water.

Amazing waterfall, worth see but pay the extra bit to take the trucks. Otherwise it's a LONG walk up an unshaded dirt road that is uphill for a long ways. Walking makes these falls an all day deal, and you'll be whipped out by the end of it. Riding in the trucks we were out of there in 3 hours With time and energy for other things.

Some of the coolest falls in the area. Tough hike if your not in reasonable shape. Bring lunch, water, food, trash bags, sunscreen, swimsuits and maybe a towel.

Pictures will never be able to describe what you will see/feel in this place. It is beautiful. Time went too fast for us. Highly recommended
