Bidrage med feedbackThis was by far the most beautiful restaurant I’ve ever seen. It’s hard to imagine a better ambiance… the vibrant colors, open air views of the ocean at sunset, the kitchen… A lot of love and incredibly good taste went into this very special place. And the ambiance was just the beginning… the dining experience was sublime. Watching them prepare the dishes… the skill and creativity was stunning. Having Jazmin talk about each dish was so interesting and fun and prepared everyone for the culinary experience of a lifetime. It was worth traveling from Utah just for this one dinner and I will be back for sure.
Rancho Cielo Alto is the premier dining experience in the Southern Pacific region of Costa Rica. There are two seatings per day and you must make reservations. There is a set four course menu which typically includes a soup, followed by a scrumptious appetizer plate and then the main course from which you can choose fish, chicken, beef, pork or vegan option. After that is a delicious dessert. Everything is fine to table and organic. Lots of herbs and medicinal foods are incorporated into the meal. The charming outdoor restaurant sits up high on a bluff above the Pacific Ocean in Uvita. It really doesn't get much better than this. No alcohol is served but you can bring your own wine or beer. This is an experience not to be missed.
Truly made with love. The chef is genuinely passionate about what she does. Spectacular view and wide variety of dishes. Parking and directions could use some attention. Other then that, would highly recommend this farm to table experience.
Wonderful views. A little hard to find because there aren’t many signs. There’s one sign off the main road that leads you up a huge paved road into a small town- once you get on unlaced road you have to take that for a while following a sign that says something else (cantina bantura or something like that) until you see one last sign for the restaurant and you make a left. We didn’t take a 4x4 and it was very difficult to get there, I would recommend having a 4x4. But it’s completely worth it once you get there! The food is incredible.
Vegan restaurant with the option for non-vegan. The food was delicious. Felt like eating in a treehouse above the jungle over looking the Pacific Ocean
