We had a wonderful experience with the sharing platter for two. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. My spicy mint tea was refreshing, and my partner really enjoyed the Ethiopian beer. Our friends were delighted with their vegan version of the sharing platter. I would definitely recommend this place!

Absolutely delicious, authentic food and wonderful staff! I've sampled Ethiopian cuisine at various places across the UK and Europe, including some highly rated restaurants and stalls, but this is by far the best I've had! I wasn't expecting much, but the flavors were fantastic and everything was perfectly cooked. Who would have thought I’d discover such excellent Ethiopian food in Nottingham of all places? I highly recommend it, especially for a vegan or vegetarian date spot, but the meat dishes are delightful as well. They also offer Ethiopian lager, which is very good. I highly recommend this restaurant! We ordered the vegetarian sharing platter, which was more than enough for two, and everything was delicious and fresh. The owner is incredibly kind and makes you feel right at home; her passion for sharing her food truly shines through. It's a hidden gem in the heart of Nottingham city centre, and I can't wait to return!

Decided to try this place out and wasnt let down. Walking into this restaurant, it really makes you feel like you've made a bad decision as it really needs an uplift. But give it a chance, the food is really worth it. Unfortunately I didnt try the beef but the chicken was really good. This is my first Ethiopian experience so dont have a clue if the food is to good standards but it was tasty. Found it really strange as one gentleman here just sat around drinking multiple bottles by himself and moving from one table to another. And the price is so cheap.

This place is a quiet, clean, spacious and calming place. It is very near the and close to all the lovely restaurants and bars of the area. But you can’t hear the noise of the streets in the apartment. The whole place made us feel at ease. Host was very nice, easy to talk to and very friendly when welcomed us. I would definitely come again!”
