Hyde Park Café - City of Niagara Falls

When I visit home I love going here. My only critique is service. Can be a little better, but the food and atmosphere make up for it. Black owned, and I love it. The food is great. Fish and grits is my go-to. Great conversation.

My family waited a few minutes to be seated for breakfast. The waitress barely motioned to a table for us and said nothing as she set menus on our table. We watched another family walk in, be seated and have their order taken within 5 minutes. After 15 minutes of being ignored, we left.

Didn't expect much from the outside. The staff was incredibly friendly and the food was amazing. Hands down the best food we had all weekend. Chicken and waffles was very good and the flavor was perfect.

We found this gem of a cafe last summer when we visited Niagara. We returned every day that week for breakfast and were never disappointed! Everything was delicious, prices were great, family-run business. We are still recommending this restaurant to our Ohio friends who travel that way!

Great place! So happy we found this spot while on vacation to see the falls. Not expensive and delicious home style food.
