The fried chicken was tossed in a spicy powder which came in a classic white takeout container that alot of places will put their rice in. In the plastic container on the side was steamed rice, stewed pork, half of a braised egg, seasoned vegetables, and relish. Definitely worth a visit.
I recently tried their lunch box, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the value and quality of the food. I opted for the $12 fish lunch box, and it came packed with a generous portion of fish fillet, a spiced corned egg, braised pork, Chinese bacon, and a variety of vegetables. The fish fillet was fried to perfection, and the taste was reminiscent of Taiwanese popcorn chicken, which I absolutely loved. While the size of the lunch box might be a bit overwhelming for those with smaller appetites, I personally found it to be a fantastic value and a satisfying meal.I would definitely order their lunch box again and recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious, filling meal at a great price.
Ordered a bento/ lunch box style takeaway. It is quite good but also it is a little too salty. Had to drink a lot of water to wash it off.
Keepin it real out here in FlushingSolid solid spot for some traditional Taiwanese food. Location is convenient and even better, inside a tiny food hall with bunch of other vendors. There's just the right amount of seats and still has the hole in the wall vibe. The dishes are authentic and traditional, if that's your thing then it's the spot for you. The popcorn chicken and pork chop are something that everyone will like. Will def return.
An absolute banger and biggest portion of pork chop over rice I’ve ever seen! $10 and I can split into 3 different meals because it came in 1 big box of rice and a separate box of 3 huge pieces of fried pork chop! Stinky tofu was okay but I love the popcorn chicken the most, crunchy on the outside and literally melty on the inside!
