Garden Gourmet Deli - City of New York

I got nothing but good things to say. This is a great neighborhood deli with great prices and large serving sizes. The chopped cheese and chicken parm sandwich are . There’s a huge selection of chips and drinks to complete your meal. There’s also a huge selection of premade sandos, build your own salad and pasta salad, bagels and more.

Great Coffee!!! Very nice staff but very slow at the counter and so expensive!$19.20 for 3 items. 1 Egg, turkey and swiss on a wrap, a 12oz coffee and a coconut water. Took 20 minutes and nobody else was there. Will just come here for coffee going forward.

Geez, the guy working the grill and counter (same guy) last night was just rude. Greeting folks with a What Do you want? ... As he looks at you as if you are a inconvenience to his life. You could also visually see him get more upset and unfriendly as more people walked in. Plenty of other Deli 's in NYC for anyone to act like this.

Don’t get me wrong these guys are very nice and they make delicious hot sandwiches! But today I was disappointed to notice one of the guys who was cleaning the counter with a dirty wash cloth and did not change his gloves as he was rushing to make my sandwich… I also seen something dark brown on my bread so I was not happy at all and did not enjoy my lunchThis is a (food Safety issue) whatever chemicals ingredients you’re using with those gloves and washcloths is going directly to our food… Guys Please please change to New gloves when dealing with customers food, We would Really Appreciate it very much
