This restaurant definitely ranks among my top 10 favorite dining spots in the city. The decor is incredibly charming, and the cocktails are innovative and truly mind-blowing. The overall experience is fun and the food is excellent. Their Vietnamese pizza is unique—served with scissors, making it a playful dining experience. The sizzling mushrooms are unlike anything I’ve ever tasted—cheesy, crispy, and perfectly complimented by all the sides provided for you to create your own rolls; it's pure bliss. My favorite dish here is the baby mustard green rolls. The delicate, soft mustard greens paired with a crispy, fresh filling and a perfectly flavored sauce make for an outstanding appetizer. Since we discovered this gem, we’ve already been back three times in just one month!
Excellent modern Vietnamese food! The Chicken Pho lives up to all the hype. However the oysters were the favorite of the night. Beef pho was good and the spring rolls were par. The rice paper pizza was a novelty Would repeat and double the oysters.
Without a doubt, this is the best Vietnamese restaurant around. You simply have to check it out, whether you're a local or just visiting. I've been here numerous times, and it's consistently incredible. I love experimenting with different appetizers and cocktails, but I always make sure to order the Beef Pho Hanoi. Just a heads up: you might find yourself gasping with delight after every bite and slurp. It's that good!
This place has made its way to become one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in Brooklyn, or NYC in general. This mostly attributed to the taste. The bún thịt nướng (lemongrass pork bowl) was very flavorful, especially the beef; the mixing sauce added a nice sweet and salty palate. The oysters were good but not very memorable. The phở bowl was great flavor-wise but not sure why no Vietnamese restaurant in America like to use the authentic pho noodles in their pho bowl. The bánh tráng trộn (rice paper salad) hits all the right notes of an authentic one. They also sell bánh chưng (Chung cake) during lunar new year, which is a plus. The cakes are quite small with little fillings but hey, this is the best you can get in NY. Restaurant is always busy so best to have a reservation. Price was quite expensive for the portion. Service was good.
