Brunswick Cafe - City of New York

Cute little cafe. Service was fast and the food was tasty. I think the prices are reasonable in spite of others reviews I have read. The first time I ate here I got the Sweet Potato Pan Cake that comes with poached eggs. One egg was perfect and the other was slightly overcooked (almost hardboiled). I overlooked it since everything else was good. I came back a second time and had the Avocado Toast, which was just as good. One of the waitstaff both times seem like she is in a bad mood...or maybe that is just her personality? Overall, this is a nice neighborhood place to just sit, drink coffee and enjoy a nice breakfast.

This is a quaint and lovely area. The food was simplistic and delicious. My latte was perfect and the server was attentive. I went mid-afternoon on a weekday. In turn, it was not overly busy and I had a corner table. Would definitely go back.

Great service and good food. Got the cheddar biscuits and husband got the salmon toast and we were pleased with the quality and quantity of food. Will come again.

Was delicious food, but the bread they chose was extremely hard on the edges. Then the waffles tasted amazing! I have never had a waffle taste like that before! Service was good and the atmosphere was relaxed. Would definitely come back.

Lovely spot! Good coffee, tasty sandwiches and waffles. Definitely will come again.
