829 Bar Restaurant - City of New York

I was really in the mood for empanadas so my friend and I decided to come here to grab lunch and appetizers to go. They said about 15 minutes but we ended up waiting more than 45 minutes and still didn't get everything we ordered including the empanadas. Decided to wait longer so I can still get them but they were disgusting.. Soggy with oil and undercooked. Never again.

I came here once and have been longing to come back. The chicharron de pollo sin huesos was the best I've ever had and the platano maduros were sweet and cut into bite-sized pieces. Also the Guanabana smoothie is really good!

Come here often as price on the food is reasonable.
