Wrap It Up - City of London,Westminster

Reasonably priced filling lunch, service is quick considering it’s a popular lunch stop for. I ordered the large Jamaican jerk chicken, which had equal amounts of salad and chicken it tasted great and more importantly it filled me up. There was a large selection to choose from, so I look forward to trying some of the other tasty sounding fillings.

On the way home from a show late at night, my wife and I both hadn't eaten, so we were keen for some hot filling food. The choice of flavours on offer here was good, there was Mexican, Portuguese, Lebanese, Caribbean, Turkish, Indian, Greek and American. I ordered a Caribbean Wrap, my wife selected a Mexican Burrito with Chicken. Sadly they were out of Caribbean, so I went with what my wife was having, sadly she had the last one of that too. Thankfully there was a Mexican with Beef ready to go, and being willing to eat anything and hungry I went with that. The portions were very generous, and they do an excellent meal deal here. Sadly whilst the tinfoil protecting the wrap was warm, the contents were anything but. Being spiced I could eat more of mine even when cold, but my wife was unable to stomach hers, and we threw them both in the bin by the time we had reached The Strand. In defence of this site, it was half an hour before closing, they had obviously been busy, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and polite, for that reason alone I'd try lunch here before making final judgement.

Great halal place, quick service and friendly staff. I tried the standard Mexican burrito, asked for extra chillie sauce. I feel it lacked a lot of flavour, the chicken had slight bits to it like cartilage,not nice. Without that extra bit of sauce I think I would have found it quite dry and I also added salt as it didn’t have much. The meal deal was decent and filling. May return again, not so sure.

My lunchtime go to place when in London. Excellent wraps, super quick and friendly service. One hint the Caribbean roti is actually available in a wrap. Ask politely and they'll happily do it for now. Also, always ask for extra hot sauce, you won't regret it.

If you are hungry around Charing Cross you definately need to try it! Best wraps in London. Easy to eat, cheap, delicious.A lot of meat and veggy choices. Unfortunately no seats for rainy days.
