Have lived in the area a while now and I don’t know how many times I have walked past this place. We decided to try it for dinner tonight, and wow. Mind blown. Possibly the best Chinese food I have ever eaten. Uncle Wrinkles we love your food, we love how friendly you and your wife are we love how cosy your restaurant is. Expect to see us back on a weekly basis!

Honestly this is the best chinese food you can find in South London and probably the whole city. The atmosphere of the restaurant is absolutely lovely, you feel like you are in someone's kitchen and can appreciate the love put into the food, my family have been coming here for 20 years and i dont see myself differing from this! The star anise fried aubergine and lemon almond chicken are genuinely heavenly! would recommend this to all and anyone looking for a great meal out in London. Good food, open kitchen, good hygiene and the occasional appearance of REAL Chinese dishes that you won;t find anywhere else. Oh, and damned good prices! Two-table restaurants, but actually rather cosy and friendly.

I've been going to uncle wrinkle for years try the lamb in plum sauce or aubergine in lemongrass and you will be impressed. Good prices, grand flavours and when possible great to sit in as it's byob.
