The Dog Duck

Historic pub given its Orwell connections. Sadly, the 1984 tendencies extend to the rather officious manager. Zero humour. Treats people like cattle. Would be nice if smiled occasionally. More bothered about cramming people in than being friendly.

We had a lovely dinner here. The food was delicious. The atmosphere is really cosy and charming. A historical London pub well worth a visit!

The experience at this restaurant was truly outstanding. It provided the perfect atmosphere for a memorable dining experience. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff contributing to our overall satisfaction and creating a true celebration of delicious food.

I only came here because the other restaurant didn't serve food. I regret not choosing a different place. The fish was not good at all - the batter was thick and soggy. My daughter's chicken bites were overcooked and almost burnt. She could only eat one and couldn't finish the rest. The pie crust was too pale and undercooked. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience. I would not come back.

What a fun and delicious spot! Bernie was amazing running the entire upstairs! She made our meal and experience wonderful!!!
