Bidrage med feedbackWe have always received good service at this restaurant, but unfortunately, that was not the case this time. The waiter attempted to carry too many used items while clearing our table, resulting in a knife hitting me in the face and a fork scratching my arm, leaving a mark on my beautiful jacket. During dessert, we discovered that either water or urine had been spilled on my coat, which was left on the chair. The waiter said they would get the manager, but no one came. Considering the high price my daughter paid for the meal, I expected top-notch service. I will think twice before returning. Thankfully, I was able to remove the stain from my jacket, but I hope for a better experience next time.
This restaurant is very convenient for the opera (in our case Tosca). I enjoyed the food very much and although it was a bit pricey, the service and atmosphere were excellent.
We ordered the crab on compressed watermelon starter, which was just okay. The watermelon and seeds overpowered the small portion of crab meat, and the pumpkin overshadowed the fish in the main course. The dessert was decent, but the millefeuille was dry and poorly structured. Additionally, the cappuccinos we ordered during the interval were lukewarm and tasted like milky water. Overall, our experience at the restaurant was disappointing. It seems that there have been changes to the front-of-house team since the reopening after Covid-related closures, and we suspect that the kitchen team and chef may have changed as well. Unfortunately, our return to the Balconies restaurant in Raw was not as enjoyable as we had hoped, and we are unsure if we will be returning in the future.
A performance in the covent garden is always a joy. start the evening with dinner in the balcony restaurant is an important extra value. service attentive and polite. no last minute hurry to settle the bill and to ur...seat without chronic outrage. a recommended combination.
The good points the restaurant is a beautiful setting, and the service was very attentive. The sourdough bread was delicious. Now the not-so-good the food was OK for the most part, although I left half of my main course as I wasn't enjoying...it. Choice for vegetarians was quite limited, so I got stuck with a spicy dish (I don't like spicy food). Portions were small, and the whole thing was ridiculously expensive. On top of that, they automatically added a service charge to the bill (even for a party of two). Given what I ate, I would consider it too expensive at even one-third of what they actually charged us. I definitely won't be returning there are an abundance of places to eat nearby, where the food will be better, and the prices more realistic.
