Bidrage med feedbackThis is my favorite restaurant in London. The food is top-notch with a Hong Kong influence, and the seafood, particularly the lobster, is amazing. We love running into the familiar faces of the locals, who always greet us with a friendly hello.
This restaurant offers authentic Chinese cuisine with a no-frills, genuine atmosphere. The variety of seasonings and unique dishes stood out for us. The service was efficient but not particularly warm. The location above the Tube was extremely convenient. We would definitely make the effort to dine here again.
We always make a point of dining at The New Fortune Cookie restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious and they have quite an extensive menu. Pricing is quite reasonable for London. It's worth booking ahead as the restaurant is very popular with both tourists and locals.
Three of us went for food when staying in London due to the train disruption. Welcoming was not friendly and we were quickly seated and the realised there was 30 minutes left before closing. If we were not welcomed, then please say and we could go elsewhere. We ordered one of the set menus. The starter selection was brought along with our main courses and were told we thought you would prefer them together. The food was like warm and tying to eat appetizers at the same time as your main courses. We hardly finished before the plates were whisked away and within seconds the bill was placed on the table and the ‘not so’ friendly waitress stood there as we were in conversation asking who was paying and who’s card was she using. We paid and left and cannot say we enjoyed the atmosphere, food or service. Would not return, there are plenty of other restaurants and places to visit
I had the best beef and black bean I’ve ever had, it was fresh and full of flavour. The service was fast and friendly.
