Bidrage med feedbackEating is so good here. Actually, I had no expectations when I first came, but every court surprised us. the service is incredibly fast what is great when they starve. my favourite dish is the noodles. the duck is so soft and the broth is so rich. a great place to eat with friends.
Very underestimated space. one of my favourites where I could eat, discovered it only 3 months ago and I was already here some paintings. Thai food is often inauthentic in london, but in greyhound cafe you will surely find eating authentic. do not miss their holy basil chilli bomb or their drunken seafood noodle dishes. the staff are very friendly, but sometimes it is difficult to get their attention when they try to call them on our table.
Very tasty Thai foods that are as authentic as they are in Asian countries. sauces were with sweet and seasoned and sourness on the square. tom yum suppe was amazing bursting with complex taste and aroma. must try the suppe. solid 4 out of 5! one of the employees was very friendly, as we walk children around the tables. she would carefully put the chairs around the tables to prevent accidents. very friendly!
This place is without doubt the most authentic Thai restaurant that I was in whole london. the central but quiet location is a plus. the staff are incredibly friendly.
I’ve been to the Greyhound Cafes in Hong Kong and Bangkok over the years, and thought they were always decent/good, but when I saw some of the reviews for the London branch, I lowered my expectations in case they did something differently. Needless to say, I didn’t need to, we thought it was great. The food was good and all the dishes were nicely presented. The meat/fish dishes came with papaya/mango salad and rice, which were great. I think the pad thai was one of our favourites. The only negative thing was that the Thai iced tea was a bit too sweet for all of us. But we definitely didn’t leave disappointed! Just expect a ‘twist’, they do have a dish with spaghetti after all!
