Mamma V's Caribbean And English Cuisine

Known for being one of the worst Caribbean kitchens in and around Harrow, this restaurant often serves late or cold meals that are not fresh, but rather prepared in batches and reheated. Despite the poor quality of the food, the owner, Mamma V, insists that it is fantastic and always busy. However, the restaurant's low ratings on Google (3 stars, which were artificially boosted by friends) and Just Eat (2 stars, which cannot be manipulated as easily) tell a different story. It's unfortunate because the charming dining room feels like a home, but the subpar food leaves much to be desired.

I recently tried the takeout from this restaurant and it was the best! The food was really delicious, with options like patties, peppered steak, and jerk chicken. The prices were good too. There was a bit of a wait, but it was definitely worth it!

After waiting for 2 hours and then making the trip to the restaurant, I discovered that it was closed down. I am now £77 out of pocket.

Order on Uber eats, curry goat zero flavour and never seen so much oil in my life. Paid for two portions of plantain and never received any the lady said it was too soft to send out and to claim it. Uber refused to give me a refund. Sent a soggy week old brown salad never again

Ordered for at around 9pm. 10 o clock came i rang, phone went to busy. bearing in mind this restaurant closes at 11pm... i called back at 10:26 pm about 18 times no answer, i kept calling yet no answer. it’s now 11pm. no food and they haven’t contacted me but took £25 of my money
