Bidrage med feedbackMy first hot pot and I loved him. the service was good, the place was full, so we had to remind the waiters to get us more food. other than that, eating was great. we had the half spicy and half clear broth, and it was delicious. the vegetables were fresh and delicate, and the meat was delicious. very happy and recommended!
Tasty, cheap and local food. they have very many vegan options available and they are very accommodating. I ordered the vegan sesame noodles that came with crispy plastered vegetables and braided tofu dishes. both were delicious and especially the braided tofu was very comforting and delicious. the food has generally really enjoyed it. Eat tastes cooked and comforting after houses, and the mood of the restaurant is very much no frills, but the staff is very sweet.
Absolutely no frills restaurant with obsolete decoration, but with some great decorations when they order well. the solitary dry noodles are amazing and are the main reason why I always return. dry green beans with chop meat and tonpot aubergine are also worth the order. there are always groups with hotpot, so I will try it one day. the service is abrupt, but that fits me well.
Joy luck is located in the china town main street, gerrard street, and they can easily find it through its green and red facade sign. I was on a solo mission this time, so I came in and sat on the window, although with the window posters, not really great views, to be honest. the natives are quite small (there are no more floorings on the upper floor, which I did not have the opportunity to visit) and it is not characterized by its decoration, quite simply by the way. I'm here to eat! I looked at the menu, even though I already knew what I wanted. I had seen his lanzhou la mien, a bark soup, but I couldn't find that easilly in the menu, so I asked to wait and he showed me in the right direction. when they go there, it is on the noodle, suppe and noodle side, and it is the top option in the left column. in the ground it is a rich broth with hand-picked noodles, and their choice of bark or pig. I had also heard of her knödeln, so I chose some to finish lunch. I had to say that the service was really good, despite my multiple asking and the last minute change from me, but the waiting time was far too long. After almost 25 minutes, I had the noodle in front of me. I went for the black and cut pitch option. 10 knödel, £7.80 (not bad). they are simply cooked, not pan fried, not sharp, but I had to add the spicy kick with some chili oil. they were really pretty good. 7 out of 10 in a dump external balance. five minutes later, I had the supper bowl. the broth was quite rich (for a Chinese suppe,) she had a decent amount of handmade noodles, perfect size cut and really delicious, coriander and pak choi as veggis and the bark was at the right point of chewiness. again I add some chili oil to him and fluff it to make it extra sharp, and. oh gott! that was all I needed. actually it is a really nice suppe, better that the baozi inn one of my thinking after, and much tastier that other places. price around £10 for the suppe, which is in average for london china standards. I didn't try any of the drinks at this opportunity, but it's definitelylly a place to come back, so next time. more pictures in enjoy the eat blog.
BE CAREFUL about two or one star rating. I was born and grew up in China, I assume that I have the credits speaking authentic of the food in this restaurant. Some people complained about the services??? However, I just saw a disappointed example this afternoon, a group of customers argued or yielded I guess towards a waitress, as one of them ordered a sort of noodles. The waitress came back from kitchen few minutes later noticing that the kitchen couldn 't serve the noodles because of no noodles in the kitchen, all served. Then this customer began to be hysterically unreasonable, she blamed the waitress for not telling her no noodles when she ordered, and her companies even joined into a short debate entitled should customer be God and be respected? or whatever and this short debate lasts for the whole time before they finished they refuelling their supplies. MARK that__________________________________________________________ How can the waitress tell her whether there were noodles or not before double check with the kitchen? If you don 't respect others, how could you and how dare you expect others respect you? And respect you for what?! For your ignorance or arrogant or WHAT?! Teach me! Good noodles dishes though, try different types I recommend.
