Shira Nui is hidden away though it is on the very busy Springvale Rd in Glen Waverley.

We ordered takeaway from this Japanese restaurant. The place has bar and normal seating inside . <br/ <br/ We ordered the chicken katsu bento which came with a generous amount of sides. The pasta was light and the seaweed salad was full of flavour. The rice itself was well flavoured and surprisingly had bits of meat mixed inside. The katsu was well battered wand crisp but the bottom half was slightly soggy haven't being left on the shredded cabbage

We come here to celebrate our birthdays nearly every year. What a great restaurant. The food literally melted in your mouth. Very pricey but totally worth it!!
