Romano's Coffee Knox City

Came for breakfast. Service was ok. Food was good. We'd finished breakfast before our coffees had arrived (had to remind them we were still waiting) which was the only let down

This cafe has great food and service. The menu has some gluten free options and they also have quite a few gluten free cakes on offer. The gluten free cakes are on the top shelf to avoid cross contamination, which is impressive.My only criticism would be that the coffee's all come out with a little biscuit sitting on the spoon, which means as a Coeliac, I have to stir my coffee with a knife from the table as I can't risk cross contamination. Apart from that though, it is a great place to go for coffee or lunch. I would highly recommend it.

We had lunch here today. My wife had the Fish Burger with Fatboy chips & I had the Calamari with salad & Fatboy chips. Both meals were well presented & full of flavour with the chips being exceptional. However the only thing that let down this meal was the portion size of the fish in the burger & the Calamari. The fish fillet must have been flattened with a rolling pin it was just so thin. The Calamari was fantastic but only 6 pieces for a dish selling for $18-90. Come on now. Why ruin a great meal by being so stingy.

Good food and great coffee with very good table service. Pleasent and cosy and visits there for myself, wife and son are regular.

I used a groupon voucher here for a breakfast. There was no exclusions to the menu and I chose a smoked salmon and avo smash. It was delicious. The salmon was lovely and fresh and I was offered the choice of one, two or no poached eggs on top. Great service and atmosphere. Will be back for sure
