Bidrage med feedbackThe sushi here is more inventive compared to the simple yet astounding offerings of a more traditional place like Nozawa in Studio City, and the staff is notably more welcoming. During my favorite meal at Kamon, the sushi chef really went all out, serving plates with two different types of sushi at a time, allowing me to fully appreciate his creativity without getting too full on any single fish cut. The standout dish was the “Honeymoon Sushi,” featuring a slice of fish liver topped with a raw quail egg—an experience that felt like a mini Rocky Balboa moment. While the prices are relatively reasonable, the restaurant itself has undergone noticeable renovations that elevate its atmosphere. Unfortunately, but perhaps happily, Kamon remains somewhat overlooked—after all, who would expect to find divine sushi in a place called the industrial city?
