There's truly something special about food made with authentic love and care, and that's precisely what you can expect here. The exterior may be unassuming, but stepping inside feels like a warm homecoming—much like the moments when your parents or grandparents would prepare your favorite dish while you sat in the kitchen chatting with them. The menu changes regularly, but the food consistently comes from the heart and is outstanding. Please note that it's cash only. For vegetarians, while the menu is small, there are still some delicious options available!

Almost got stuck being unable to pay for lunch ?As others have mentioned super messy looking (even doors sticking on sagging floors), but really amazing food made with care by the proprietor. Rare Gem!!! But you won't know it until you taste the food. When you walk in you think it must be closed and he's moving out because there is stuff everywhere. The place is old and needs repair. The owner and only employee is in the same condition, BUT man can he cook!!! I like the finest dining I can find, but I have never had a house salad as good as this one, ever!!! All the food was prepared completely from scratch and oh my lord does he know what he's doing! The tables while extremely old, were genuine wood and as clean as can be! This place is a little shocking to walk into but I highly recommend it anyway. The fine cuisine was second to none!

John the owner stood there last night and prepped my meal from scratch for 30 minutes as he chatted with me. If you need a scene this isn't the place for you. If you want a quiet place for a very reasonably priced drink, good talk about the town, and, it turns out, a delicious home cooked meal see pics) then this is the place for you.
