Bidrage med feedbackVery impressed. The service was exceptional and the food was great. We started with the Manchurian cauliflower which was unique and very good. My wife’s burger was well seasoned and cooked as requested. I had the catfish sandwich and loved it. Both came with fried fingerling potatoes which were perfectly cooked and not at all greasy. I only hope next time I come I can try the duck bahn mi because they were out last night. Fortunately our server guided me to that awesome catfish sandwichParking: There is a parking lot next to the restaurant which is reserved for patronsWheelchair accessibility: The entrance from the parking lot is accessible
Not much verity in the menu. I got steak and cheese sandwich. So so.
Stopped in for a date night with my wife on Saturday. A show just let out so there was an influx of people all at the same time. The wait staff did a tremendous job of getting everyone seated and drink orders going. It was a bit slow getting going but the staff were super attentive to let us know they'd be right with us. We started with the clams and the catfish tacos. Both were delicious and served fresh and hot from the kitchen. Main course for my wife was the filet which she said was fantastic. I had the double smash burger which was very good. We shared the chocolate mousse cake for dessert. Great experience and we will definitely be back for the great food and friendly service.
The entire dinner service was great. Everyone was quite personable and friendly. The food was delicious, good portions and beautifully plated . The music chosen for last night was perfect and we even commented to the owner who came by to check on us.
We've been to The Copper Crow many times, most recently last night. As always, the menu is widely varied, the dishes are creative and well prepared. I'd rate the food, overall, as very good to excellent, varying in that range by the diners' choices. Our server was terrific. Now for the bar. Cocktails are spot on. The beer choices are vast, with ABVs from zero to over 12%. Sadly, however, wine list is short and the wines are unappealing. Ordinarily, the solution to that problem is simple: if you're into wine, bring your own. Inexplicably, however, for the first time since The Great Flood, The Copper Crow now imposes a corkage charge — to which I don't object — of $50 per bottle — which is OUTRAGEOUS. Just for your information, that's more than double the corkage that any other mid-tier restaurant in Albany would have the chutzpah to impose. My guess? Unless the corkage is reduced to $20 or less or the wine list is hugely expanded with good options at reasonable prices, The Copper Crow may gradually become less a dining venue and more a burger-and-beer bar. That would be a regrettable loss.
