Bo's Urban Corner - Citrus Heights

Bo's is a family-owned restaurant, and the staff are some of the kindest people you will ever meet. I make the trip across town for their amazing food because they serve the best Banh Mi I've ever had! Trust me, I've explored many other places, but nothing compares. They also have a secret menu that includes BBQ pork and potstickers, so be sure to ask about those! If you're a coffee lover, you must try their café phin — it’s an iced Vietnamese espresso with condensed milk, and it’s incredibly delicious with fantastic flavor. If you visit often and hang out, you might even get a complimentary small cup while you wait.

The service here is exceptionally friendly and focused on the customer. This is the first restaurant where they took the time to explain everything about the food I ordered, as well as how and why to enhance my dining experience even more. The food itself is quite good, and all additional options are completely customizable to your preference.

The father-and-son owners are incredibly kind and make you feel right at home when you visit. They have a small patio area set up outside for COVID safety. The food is simple yet incredibly fresh, and the coffee is strong and delicious.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and I'll certainly return. We tried the pork and chicken sandwiches, and they were outstanding. The pickled vegetables were just right, and the meat was juicy and flavorful. Each sandwich is served with a slightly sweet and tangy white sauce, as well as a savory chili sauce, both of which pair perfectly with the sandwiches. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this place! The man at the counter—possibly the owner—was very friendly and polite. It's a small venue, so it can get a bit crowded during busy times.

I was truly impressed by this restaurant! During my first visit, I ordered the pork Bánh mì, and it was absolutely outstanding. The person at the front was very kind and welcoming as well. This will definitely become one of my go-to places for lunch or dinner!
