Da Brun - CISON DI VALMARINO

Delicious meat from the grill... well cooked and seasoned... thanks ! Its near a very nice wine cantina.. see you soon for sure !!!

We showed up with eighteen people and no reservation... No stress. We were quickly seated and curtesy of some Italian friends ordering was sorted in no time. The food started appearing very soon and untrue Italian style kept appearing for a long time. Simple ingredients but prepared to perfection. If you like grappa they do a coffee brewed without water if you get my meaning. PS I hesitated a long time prior to reviewing as I was not too sure I was prepared to share the info...

Any time we go to BRUN is a new experience, the food is very simple but excellent: in particular the meet which is cooked directly on the fire; what to say of the appetizers? marvellous; try the polpette (meat balls) and all the vegetables, peppers, aubergines, courgettes, mushrooms, erbette...all fresh and well-cooked. And the wina, simple but tasty. And, at the end Brun's speciality: the CAFFE' ALPINO! A mixture of coffee with different herbs, a mysteriuos receipt af the granny! See you there next time!

We stayed at this restaurant, in late October, with some perplexity, seen the latest reviews, but we must say that nothing written, we happened. indeed, we have known an interesting place, with space for any occasion, both external and internal; cleanliness and maximum courtesy and to finish quality of dishes, superlative. We'll be back for sure.

So I consider my experience at the brun restaurant. nothing that only enthralled me with the old bacon recipe of my grandmother, for the rest less than a sagra.
