Waverlys - Cisco

This coffee shop is a gem. Sean is quite hospitable accommodating with unique barista requests. I ordered the “Sidewinder” that is legendary so much so it isn’t on the menu. I added oat milk a titch of honey bc it is a snake bite to the back of the throat. The sidewinder is exquisite! If you like to walk on the wild side, order this! What a cool place! So I'm on my way to Abilene from DFW and a huge storm hits Abilene. The hubs calls me and tells me to pull over in Cisco, TX. He finds Waverly's and what a place it is. A cute home town relaxing coffee shop. A wall of old fashion toys surrounds the interior of the shop. There's a section of books. Plenty of tea selection to purchase and take home to enjoy. Friendly faces behind the counter greet you and make you feel like you're in your friends kitchen having a cup of joe. If you're in the mood for a cold treat, they have coolers with drinks not easily found elsewhere in the area. If you're hungry they'll make you an omelet or sandwich on the grill plate behind the counter. The chai tea is tasty. The coffee is great. The service is awesome. If you need a minute to relax, take a detour off I20 and come in for a cup.
