Nasi Lengko is a vegetarian heaven. For those looking for a fleshy dish, this is not the court for you. But if you are looking for some light and easy to eat, and if you want to, tofu and tempo, this would be perfect for you! Nasi lengko for me is the perfect combination of texture, taste and lightness. It is easy to finish and allows a good aftertaste to the mouth directly. It is basically tofu, tempeh, cucumber, roasted shallots and onions all on white rice and on top with Cirebon's signature sweet soy sauce. As someone who grew up in East Java, I am used to eating things like pecel and gado-gado, and nasi lengko is just the perfect balance of these nostalgic flavors with an additional cirebon-drill. I personally recommend it as breakfast or a light lunch for you to go over the rest of your day. However, if you want to add some meat to it, you can always pair the dish with a lamb satay to get the best from both worlds! Just a quick word of caution that this is indeed a simple warung and not a chic restaurant in any way, so please do not expect the amount of cleanliness you would do in these places. But no matter, nasi lengko remains to eat my favorite dish in Cirebon.

One of the old culinary places in the city of Cirebon. Offers lengko rice, goatseed, gejrot tofu durian ice cream. Since then, the taste is still delicious. The service is friendly, the place is clean.

Delicious traditional cirebones food, nasi lengko with satai is a very good combination that makes the food even more delicious. This place has been known for its taste for a very long time and has never failed me so far, it is amazing Indonesian food!!

Authentic Cirebon dish with authentic taste. Here you would find Nasi Lengko (originally for breakfast) throughout the day. They happen to join it with Lamb Satay so you could have them in one plate. Visited here on 24 Nov 19 and the Lengko cost for IDR 15.000. Twice the price compared to traditional breakfast stall in the neighbourhood but worth it.
