City Barbeque - Circleville

Ribs weren't trimmed properly. Flavor was lacking even with adding sauce. I have tried to give this place a chance. But they always let me down. The sweet tea is good though.

Barbecues really hard I would say it's to me below average but I'm not from Ohio so it may truly be Ohio barbecue but honestly one of the best barbecue sauces I've ever had Bushfire I'll definitely buy more than one

The meat was delicious and juicy! The staff was extremely friendly, and the restaurant was spotlessly clean!

The food is decent, with tender meats (although quite salty), but it doesn't justify the high prices they're charging. The sauces tasted like something you'd find at a grocery store, which is disappointing. Overall, the food is mediocre for the steep costs. Expect to spend around $20-25 per person and $8-10 for children. I was really looking forward to this place opening in Circleville, especially since I spent 12 years in south Texas and miss my Bill Miller's! Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. I doubt this BBQ spot will last long here. It would be great if the City Council offered liquor licenses to attract bigger chains like Applebee's or Outback, because right now, we're stuck with overpriced fast food options.

The BBQ sauces were mediocre; none of them had any real flavor.
