Bidrage med feedbackThis place surprised the hell out of me, a caffe and a museum is not a place I would expect to give five stars. but really honest? they were five stars. it is a really simple menu, and we have very simple dishes, but neither my mother nor I were the least disappointed. gigantic club sandwich, a gigantic Cobb salad, really light and tasteful dressings, and very fresh products throughout. service was friendly and fast, and they can not beat the ambiente. I'm going back.
Today we had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. We shared a cinnamon roll and it was delicious. The waitress recommended it, and it was a great choice. I had a club sandwich and my partner had a chicken salad, both of which were fresh and tasty. Everything we tried was excellent. I deducted one star for some unclean tables, but overall we enjoyed the view of the courtyard. The food was flavorful and fresh, with limited but good options. Our waitress, Emma, was friendly and we loved her service. The coffee was also really good, and they even offered a free refill. The prices were reasonable, and I never feel ripped off when dining here. It's also nice to enjoy the museum's art while eating.
The restaurant is a bit pricey for lunch, but it is very convenient for a visit to the impressive and wonderful art museum. The service is friendly and the terrace seating is beautiful. The menu is mostly safe, offering items like the terrace club sandwich with ham, turkey, speck, salad, tomatoes, cheddar, and mayo on toasted bread, served with chips. However, there are some highlights on the menu such as the sweet and spicy Cincinnati chicken sandwich with Deli-style pickles and a tangy rollisa menu. Despite the slightly overcooked roasted chicken, the sandwich exceeded expectations and was served with a side salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette.
This restaurant is surprisingly excellent. Typically, museum cafés are known for mediocrity and overpriced menus. However, the Terrace Café at the Cincinnati Museum of Art defies these expectations with its exceptional food and reasonable prices. I have tried many veggie burgers over the years, but the one here was by far the best I've ever had. My companion opted for the crab salad and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. We both agreed that this is probably the best museum restaurant we have ever dined at.
