Bidrage med feedbackAll the food was wonderful. We had a party of 4 and we each ordered something different so we could try different entrees. Fried lasagna bites were awesome! Baked Ziti with meatballs, Amish Chicken Piccata and Bucatini Carbonara was excellent. Orecchiette Pugliese was very good but a little too spicy. Cannoli Cookie I would not consider it to be in the Cannoli family. Was a little too rich. Chad the server was magnificent!
Could not have had a better dinner experience while dining at Rosie's. Eggplant Parm, Spaghetti and Meatball, and Cannoli was absolutely delicious. The old fashion wasn't bad either!
We had reservations at 7pm on a Tuesday night at the bar. We were seated promptly and taken care of by lovely Madison. The atmosphere is very cozy and warm. We ordered two Aperol Spritzes and they were huge! We followed with the Ricotta toast, which was also huge. We weren't fans of the presentation though. The combination of the creamy ricotta, nduja (mild spicy sausage), truffle honey, and balsamic was fantastic. It just would have been easier to eat if we were able to spread the toast ourselves. Consequently, the toast underneath all of the cheese just turned soggy. The plate it was served on was too small to maneuver the knife and fork making it difficult to eat. The Bucatini Carbonara was rich and sinful. The Honey Pie was fantastic. However, the Amish Chicken Picatta was confusing. It was topped with so much arugula salad that you couldn't even see the chicken. The dressing from the salad combined with the sauce from the chicken and changed the whole picatta profile. We would also would prefer a lemon slice for squeezing instead of fried lemon slices. The chicken was cooked perfectly though. And again, the plate was too small to use utensils without food falling off the plate. We look forward to returning to try more of the menu items.
As seems to be the case with all Crown Group properties, the food is creative and nicely presented, the service is consistently good, and the ambiance is what you should expect at successful restaurants. The wine selections are very good.
We decided to try Rosie's after reading it was named one of the top Italian restaurants in the city. The food did not disappoint. We enjoyed the baked ziti with sausage and vodka rigatoni with meatballs. The servings were hefty and we took some home. The place had a modern vibe. At 5:00, it was full. It was a good night.
