My wife Nancy called pit to Plate To order some pulled pork only to find out that the restaurant has closed its doors they have become a catering service only and when Diane Who was on her cell phone driving her car found out Nancy was coming all the way from The East Side of town to buy her pulled Pork she was nice enough To say meet me at the store I will sell you What you want by the pound To me is just an awesome thing she stopped what she was doing to meet my wife ! I just hope Diane will keep on selling her products by the pound to us fans of her food. God Bless Diane ! A review of Pit to Plate food : The pulled pork is the BEST in the city ! We drive over an hour round trip to buy it the sauce is awesome, sweet yet has some kick to it. Thanks again Diane
Fall off the bone rib tips. Just had a serving of rib tips at the street food festival, and it was well worth the $6. The mustard based sauce was well above average. If you see this truck, run it down!
I love this BBQ. This is one of the best if not the best. The pulled pork is seasons perfectly and the addition of one or more of the varied sauces add to the BBQ delight. The staff are friendly and the bar is well stocked.
I've only had Pit to Plate at Taste of Cincinnati, so I decided to finally make the trek to Mt. Healthy to visit the source of this deliciousness and man was it worth it. The atmosphere is pretty cool we sat next to these pictures of Boarson Wells and Albert Einswine. As far as the food, its delicious BBQ goodness. There are about 6 sauces on the table, each one at little different and tasty. Had the pulled pork plate with some taters and beans and its a good thing there is a roll of paper towels right on the table. If I had one negative to say about this place it was that my side of beans was kind of small compared to the taters. I would have expected bigger but it was about all they could fit on the plate so I guess I cant complain that much. All in all its worth a trip up here.
Family of four and three of us had combo platters. The beef ribs were so tender and tasty didn't even need sauce. I did try the Wrangler which was a combo of their Gold Rush, North Carolina and Mild BBQ. Unique taste. The sautéed cabbage had a kick to it. Brisket good. Pulled pork was really good. Turkey breast juicy and tasty. Can't believe there was room for dessert.
