Located in Hoffner Park in Northside, known as the hippy part of Cincinnati, the market is close to other vegan-friendly establishments. I often enjoyed lunch with a friend before browsing the market. Bluebird Bakery, the only all-vegan bakery at the market, impressed me with their delicious chocolate chip cookies, some of which were organic and gluten-free. Street Pops offers flavorful, all-natural popsicles that are perfect on hot days. Fab Ferments, a local kombucha vendor run by Jen and Jordan, offers the tastiest kombucha in town. I highly recommend visiting the Northside Farmer's Market for unique treats. While I didn't purchase all my groceries there, I did find some special items to enjoy throughout the week.
I used to visit the Northside Farmer's Market in Cincinnati a few years ago to pick up some park vine (baked goods) and recently decided to go back this summer. I enjoy the sense of community at this farm market, although the selection from vendors can vary. This year, I was particularly interested in the mushrooms, street popsicles, blueberries, vegan baked goods, and Fab Ferments kombucha. While I didn't do much shopping for myself, I found that some vendors didn't always have what I needed or their prices were higher compared to the nearby Findlay Market. Located in Hopewell Park in Northside, which is known as a hippie area of Cincinnati, the market is also close to other vegan-friendly establishments. I especially enjoyed the vegan bakery called Bluebird Bakery, where the chocolate chip cookies were delicious and some were organic and gluten-free. Street-Pops offered refreshing and flavorful popsicles, perfect for hot days, while Fab Ferments had the most beautiful kombucha in the city, made by two talented individuals named Jen and Jordan. I highly recommend visiting the Northside Farmer's Market for unique and tasty finds. I was able to stock up on veggies for the week, even if I didn't find everything on my list.
