The many lights are represented by a curated setting and the quality of the dishes served (with generous but not exaggerated portions) with garb. From raw materials, which are undoubtedly excellent and from the wine of the house, a pleasant red of "import" monferrin. The few shadows are instead in the zabaione (too dense and with a hint of wine too evident) and in the meat of the braised that, although of good taste, it turned out too nervous. Finally, it will be sorry to the managers but it is a move with the intention to offer a point of reflection, the account. The complete menu at 34,00 eur, for a lunch in the farm, is located above the average, also taking into account the prices of restaurants in the area. On the day we were guests, there were two starters, two first dishes and one second. Choice of attractive dishes, but limited, as expected from an agriturismo. The rooms for reception activities (rooms and lunch) are well furnished, but only the tables booked (two) were rightly arranged while the other rooms were adorned. The door is, in fact, a hay. With farm equipment parked. Basically, the invitation is to choose whether to keep prices above the average, and therefore to devote more time also to details and to expand the offer of the preparations, or to walk the road of the farm in cascina and to lower a little the costs.
We came to Cigliano and stayed in this farm. I can't give a judgement to the restaurant; but I can say that as a welcome, room cleaning and breakfast deserve the most votes. To return.
I didn't know this place, I was there for the first time on Christmas holidays for a dinner with friends. Very pleasant, refined, pastel colors, antique furniture flanked by more modern pieces. Well lit with indirect light. The restaurant consists of several rooms and can happen, as in our case, to find a room only for our table; condition according to me very pleasant. The dishes are very nice, well presented and very good. The staff is very attentive. I didn’t evaluate the place with 5 stars because the price makes me a little thinking; maybe a little high. Anyway, I already realized I'd come back.
Refined farm, despite the placement you accompany to hens, tractors, hay and all that does old farmhouse. The kitchen is simple but very accurate, with mixed fried or anchovies to the green type old Piedmont. There are some separate rooms, which guarantee possibility of private chat, without ....share with other tables. The furniture is very pleasant, with the belief of the grandmother along with design chairs, in restful and bright pastel shades. There are also rooms for the night, comfortable for those from Milan want to make a stop towards Turin or the Val d'Aosta
