Wedang Ronde Ata - Ciaul

Wedang Ronde comes from the Javanese language. Wedang means drink and round means round dough which is usually made from glutinous rice flour. There is also a source that says the origin of the name Wedang Ronde comes from the Dutch word rond which means round. Then it becomes “Rondje” in its use. This traditional hot drink originates from mainland China as Dongzhi or Tangyuan . Unlike the wedang ronde, this “Tangyuan” broth is sweet and warm. In ancient times when Indonesia had not yet been formed and the regions were still called Nusantara, many traders came to Indonesia. Some traders introduce this warm drink.
