Bergrestaurant Alp Statz - Churwalden

This place is in the middle of the Staetz piste. Huge self-service with good value meals, including a salad buffet. Plus the usual spaghetti, Bratwurst, fries, the local mac and cheese (Alpler Macaroni) and Spag Bol. Served part is also good with a wide menu. Best to reserve on weekends and during holiday period, especially if more than 2 of you. In Feb and Mar there is a Sunday brunch that you can combine with the Early Bird skiing.

This is the ideal place for the downhill skier to go and warm up from the cold winter climate and have a hearty meal. They have a self-serving area as well as an area where the staff will serve you. It is nice to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine and view to the mountains.

Our order was taken but we waited more than 30 minutes for soup and fries. Just too much!!!

Nice and cozy place to stop and have a drink or something to eat. Very friendly service.
