Bidrage med feedbackA small, unassuming location for Japanese style sandwiches made fresh to order. Excellent quality and value for serving portions. Bring your appetite!
My favorite part about this restaurant is the side of Japanese curry you can order to dip your katsu sandwich in! Yum, so flavorful! Make sure to order it.The place is bright, colorful and joyful, and I loved going here to experience a different style of Japanese food from the typical ramen/Izakaya San Diego Japanese establishment.Music was just a tad loud for my taste, but it didn’t bother me also.
Got the spicy chicken Katsu sando and it did not miss!! The flavors and textures were so delicious especially with the milk bread. Got fries and a side of curry to dip which you absolutely need to get. The curry was the shining star of the meal, Will be back without a doubt.
Been wanting to try this hole in the wall for some time now. Tonight, we made it a date. I tried the Chicken Katsu Sando and GinaBee chose the Kimchee Chicken Sando. Both baskets come with a side of Daikon (pickled radish) chunks. Both sandwiches were made with two large slices of milk bread. The Chicken Katsu was sandwiched between a bed of green cabbage slices and jalapeños. It was delish! The Kinchee Chicken Sando sat between a bed of sliced red cabbage. Not sure if they added a thousand island-like sauce, but I ate GinaBee’s other half. I washed my meal down with a Strawberry Watermelon Smoothie. Yuh-mee! We’ll be back!
Fantastic sandwiches that blew my expectations away. First time having Japanese sandos and this place completely delivered. The bread was so soft, the cabbage crisp and the katsu chicken crispy. I also got to try a Manchu beef sando special they had and it was like a delicious breaded hamburger. Will come
