Filippi's Pizza Grotto - Chula Vista

I love FilsIMHO best pizza around My waitress was Toni, she was nice, cute and very attentive.

Order a pizza to go and ask for paper plates they will look at you like your from another planet place is going downhill faster and faster bathrooms are

I normally go across the street to Zorba's, a Greek restaurant.

We use to be customer at this location but in the past 5 months there service is horrible. this are some of the things we experience at the chula Vista location. the waiter spill spaguetti on my brand new jacket, filippis refuse to pay for the damages. in one of our visits we place our order long before some of the other families place there order, those families were serve first then us. i complaint to the female manager she did not care. then in our last visit a week ago, our food was serve COLD. again i complaint and management didn’t care. we notice one thing if you are white you get great service but if you are any other color you are treated like garbage. we no longer recommend this place avoided if you can,there are better places out there that care about there customers. WE ARE NOT GOING BACK PERIOD.

Great service (Mary), however, kitchen has dictated this review. When an entree comes out 5-10 minutes after ordering (lasagna), just had a feeling this may be a problem. It was warm at best and final responsibility falls on server. Shame onkitchen for making the server look bad! Previous review 3 years ago was 4 of 5 stars. No excuses for digressing, check yourequipment or use microwave!
