El Patio - Chula Vista

During a recent road trip through Southern California, I had the pleasure of visiting El Patio and was truly impressed by the quality of the food and the exceptional customer service. The dishes were delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff was both attentive and friendly. Even though I'm not from the area, they made me feel right at home. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Five stars!

I've been visiting El Patio for over 40 years and have seen it change ownership a few times. I really enjoy the food—it's excellent. Most of the waitstaff are friendly, but the people who bring the water, chips, and salsa often don't seem to listen to anything I say. I'm not sure if it’s because of my appearance; even though I’m Italian, I always try to be nice to everyone and hope for the same in return. Aside from that, the food is great and it's a wonderful place. They just need to remind the staff to pay more attention to the customers.

I visited this restaurant with my family, and I have to say, it's the most delicious authentic Mexican place I've tried in San Diego. The staff was amazingly kind and attentive, especially the owner. My 5-year-old nephew absolutely loved his burrito and even received a candy from the owner! We will definitely be back. Perfect!

Nice Spanish music, calm atmosphere, it feels like 'ahorita ' (someday it will be done) in a good relex way.

Large portions with the best enchilada sauce. I normally don't choose shredded beef in burritos, but the tender meet inside the tortilla with the sauce makes it all worth. The Chile relleno is excellent! In any other city, I'd give 5 stars, but San Diego is a top food destination. But don't miss this great restaurant with a wonderful history!
