Wow!!! was I pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. Some of the best tacos in San Diego, and I take that claim seriously, as I've gone to dozens of different establishments. They are true to their name, each serving is incredibly unique and a delight for the senses. The owner came out and greeted us, thanked us, and gave us free broth. Highly recommendable, well worth going out of your way for. The Cochinita Pibil is world class food. Nothing on the menu was bad, great service, good environment, lively enjoyable music. If you're reading this review, what are you waiting for? Get over there already!

I saw this food place for a long time from all kinds of bloggers and finally decided to go with my friends after a hike. Small place n parking lots were small but the food was so so good. So go early if you want to park on the spot, otherwise you have to park a little farther away. Will definitely go again n try their sheep head.
