Bidrage med feedbackOriginal for Pocatello they had a buffet, everything you can eat, and also a non-buffet menu my wife ordered. Free salad bar with buffet. The foot is cooked before you so that you clean it. Waiters are proactive and keep your table clear and drinks full. Quiet atmosphere and its not crowded very friendly place.
The restaurant itself has come down a bit and the variety of vegetables is limited. But hey... only Mongolian BBQ in Pocatello, how can you complain. Not the best, not the worst.
Good value. This is one of those places where you fill your bowl with vegetables, noodles, meat and sauce and cook them for you... so it's your own fault when it sucks. They also serve soup, roasted rice and a spring roll to eat. It is all you can eat for about $10, and depending on your choice can be a very healthy, low calorie meal.
The Mongolian BBQ was pretty good and the salad bar was fresh. ~Instructions: They chose a buffet with fresh vegetables, meat and noodles, put them in a bowl and douse it in the sauce of choice (I recommend using several sauces and fill your bowl with sauce for most taste) then cook it for you. *All you can eat (fits in your bowl) a trip. We were there between lunch and dinner. There were only a few people when we were there. The cook/heat/hot was the only person there. She treated everything very well. I'd eat there again.
The owners are incredibly nice people and the food is great. It can feel a little strange putting your bowl together the first time, but each time you do you learn more about what you like and what goes well together. Comes with egg drop soup, pork fried rice, a spring roll, and salad bar. For a medium-priced meal that's guaranteed to leave you satisfied and full, Lei's is a mouthwatering choice with flavorful reasons to return again and again.
