Hucks - Christopher

This Hucks is showing its age, but it’s still a great place. The staff are always friendly, and for the most part, the store is clean. There’s also plenty of space around the gas pumps.

I pulled up in a company vehicle to clean my windshield when an elderly woman on oxygen waved my coworker and me over, asking for help with pumping gas. She mentioned that she had called the store three or four times for assistance, but no one answered. As someone who has previously worked for this company, I was disappointed to see that no one was available to help her.

I won’t be going back to this Hucks for food. It's disappointing because I've enjoyed it for so many years. I'm fed up with the management's disregard for the quality of their food. I think I’ll head to Casey’s instead, even if it means paying for two overpriced slices of pizza.

This restaurant has gaming options, which is a nice touch. I nearly overlooked mentioning their amazing strawberry shortcake served in a cup—it's truly delicious! Plus, there's a 25¢ pool table, so you can't really go wrong with that. Overall, a great spot! One love.
