Holiday Inn Christiansburg Blacksburg, An Ihg

This review is mainly for the building itself and not the employees as they were super friendly and accommodating.The building is outdated, carpet and rooms were outdated. This hotel is definitely outdated and it needs some major upgrades. The pool looked dirty and it hasn’t been cared for for years. The lobby is the only area that looks modernized which can be deceiving.Bottom line, don’t expect anything special from this holiday inn.Rooms: Rooms need some major enhancements and upgrades. Out of all the holiday inn I’ve been in, this one has to be the worst.

Family and I stayed here and the Furniture in the lobby is shabby, worn, and extremely dirty with stains and sticky, the furniture looked like it was falling apart. Pool closed, facilities very unsanitary and for a Holiday Inn you will be very disappointed as we were. Rooms were needing clean dirty floors. Hotel needs a major renovation. Steer clear of this property for the price you are paying high dollar for location only. Restaurant was closed. Pool Closed. We will not be returning.

Stayed there mainly for the Tesla destination charger. Only 1 available, there is another one clipper creek.Breakfast was good, if booked thru their website at least 3 days ago you get breakfast added for a couple of dollars.

Samuel is the BEST!!! Our 2 year old got sick in the car on the way to the hotel a few times…we had a long drive) and he washed all of her clothes and blankets and towels. Thanks Sam!!Also, there are a ton of things to do near by. Texas Roadhouse is literally right across the street. We ate there our first night here. They also gave us free breakfast for a week.They could use more parking…but they’re connected to WalMart so we used their lot : Also, the inside pool is pretty warm! Wish it would open earlier and stay open later! Other than that, no complaints!

We stopped here for the night on our way down south on the bikes. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. Breakfast was good and we liked the Texas Roadhouse right next door for dinner. Would stay here again.Rooms: Clean and spacious.
